What He Does
A
teamster drives and maintains all types of trucks
such as pick-ups, two (2) wheel to eighteen (18)
wheels, dump trucks, winch trucks, boom trucks, low
boys (to haul machinery), flat beds from two (2) to
eighteen (18) wheels, fork lifts in a warehouse,
buses to haul men to the job. A teamster's job is
to haul men, material and equipment on the jobsite
and to and from the other crafts to keep them
supplied with material to complete the job. Also
work in Manufacturing and Warehousing, Over-the-Road
Trucking, Ready Mix, Commercial Services, Municipal
Employees, Construction Worker
Working
Conditions
All
work is performed outside and on the road ways. A
teamster must have all the appropriate licenses and
DOT physicals.
Construction Driver
Must posses a
CDL for vehicles on excess of 26,001 pounds.
Receives training in multiple trucks listed below,
but not limited to:
