Victor "Vic" Bubas

Born January 28, 1927 in Gary, Indiana.
Mr. Bubas graduated from Gary's Lew Wallace High School in 1944. He played guard at North Carolina State and was a two-time All-Southern Conference Selection. He was the head basketball coach at Duke University from 1960 through 1969. He led the Blue Devils to three Final Four appearances, including a spot in the 1964 championship game against UCLA and four Atlantic Coast Conference championships.
