Joseph Thomas Zeller

Born May 2, 1908 in East Chicago, Indiana.
Died September 23, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois.
Professional football player, offensive lineman for one year with the Green Bay Packers in 1932 and 6 years with the Chicago Bears from 1933 to 1938. Zeller played High School football at both EC Roosevelt and Washington High School during 1926, 1927 and 1928. He was All Conference and All State. He played both basketball and football at Indiana University. He was a coach for the Newark Bears for a time, was with the Navy's physical training staff at Marquette University in the 1940's and went to Kansas University in 1944. In his later years, he worked for the court systems in both East Chicago and Chicago as a probation officer and judge's aid.
