Mr. Irons was a
professional football player with the Oakland Raiders from 1970 to 1975
and the Cleveland Browns in 1977. He was voted NFL Player of the Week in
1975 and voted MVP while playing with the Cleveland Browns in 1977. He
earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and went to law
school.
He lives in Texas and in 2003, his son Grant
Irons was signed by the Raiders as a free agent. Mr. Irons
is Senior Vice President of Business Development
with Conine & Associates, Commercial Real Estate
Advisors.
Gerald has been listed among the 100 greatest
Cleveland Browns of all time.
