Bill "Tosh" Tosheff

Born June 2, 1926 in Gary, Indiana.
Mr. Tosheff graduated from Froebel in 1944. He started working at the mills at age 13 for $6.48 a day. Tosheff  played Professional basketball for the Indianapolis Olympians and the Milwaukee Hawks from 1951 to 1955.  He was the first NBA Co-Rookie of the Year. Tosheff is co-founder and president of the Pre-1965 NBA Players Association, which has helped over 100 players and their families receive pensions where they were previously excluded from the NBA's pension plan. He also runs a security company for car dealerships in San Diego.
