State Convention, 2007
The
Hammond Branch NAACP are extremely excited about hosting
this year's Indiana State Convention. We are
looking forward to a weekend of stimulating events.
We have planned a series of informative and thought
provoking seminars. Mark you calendar for October
26, 27 and 28, 2007.
We
kick off Friday with a short memorial service and a
series of various workshops. Luncheons will be
held throughout the weekend with a number of high
profiled speakers. Just to name a few: Reverend
Nelson Rivers COO of National NAACP, Baltimore: Hilary
Shelton - Director of the Washington Bureau of NAACP and
Dr. Vernon Smith, Indiana State Representative.
