Sledding hills are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through March 31, when adequate snow cover allows, at Oak Ridge Prairie County Park, 301 S. Colfax St., Griffith, and Lemon Lake County Park, 6322 W. 133rd Ave., between Crown Point and Cedar Lake.
A gate fee is required when gatekeeper is on duty. Bring a tube or plastic sled; no metal or wooden sleds with runners or ski boards, allowed. Call the park site for updates on snow conditions. Call Oak Ridge Prairie at (219) 884-7238 or Lemon Lake at (219) 663-7627.
