Program Description
-Provides an environment where patients can come to celebrate life, deal with hardship and get questions answered.
-Weekly support groups for cancer patients, survivors, family members and caregivers.
-Library with books, videotapes and other educational materials available for checkout for home use.
-Computer searches can be done on site.
-Lectures, seminars, and workshops led by health professionals.
-Monthly networking groups facilitated by nurses, clinicians and Social Work professionals.
-"Children Conforting Cancer" support group for children under 16.
