The Calumet Astronomical Society has been serving as the Region's organization for astronomical study, education, recreation, and outreach for over 35 years. Visitors are welcome to all of our events and there are many benefits of membership in the Society.

Program Description
-Monthly meetings include programs such as guest speakers, astronomy software workshops, astro-photo contests, video presentations, swap meets, and informative lectures from CAS members.
-Public star parties and educational programs throughout the year. Events include public viewing sessions at Lemon Lake County Park and public school exhibitions to introduce youths to the wonders of astronomy.
-Organized field trips to astronomy-related sites such as observatories and museums throughout the Midwest and conventions throughout North America.
