Recreation Parks/Recreation Areas Lowell Bonnie Lake
This wetland preserve is located just to the west and north of the high school and encompasses 23 acre as with a 16 acre shallow lake. As a partner in the Indiana Grand Kankakee Marsh Restoration Project, the Lowell Parks Department is establishing this park as an educational tool to teach the importance of re-establishing and preserving the once great river basin of the Kankakee River.
