Sigma Theta Tau Mu Omega Chapter, Honor Society in Nursing will present The Smart Patient

The free program is designed to provide information about how to stay safe and well, either at home or in the hospital. Topics include how to prevent injury or illness and ways to manage medications and to prevent infections.

Instead of general speakers, there will be tables set up. Each one will be manned with an expert in that area. There will also be blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, as well as information on diet, exercise and other wellness concerns.
