Born March 9, 1948 in Hammond, Indiana  Died July 1, 2009 in Los Angeles, California

Academy Award winning actor, working since the 1940's, Karl Malden's most famous roles included his television appearances in "The Streets of San Francisco" (1972), "How the West was Won" (1962), "Streetcar Named Desire" (1951), "On the Waterfront" (1954) and "Patton" (1970).
